This one a first place in a competition I entered in recently. Can you all guess what picture it's off of? It's a hard one to guess ... I KNOW! But I wanted to do sepia tones instead of the original lighting.
Oh oh funny story. I was getting this one back after the competition. And the lady was like "All the people who hang these up give the pieces nicknames" and I was like yeah that's understandable "They called this one the drug dealer" and I was like .... HA! It is!! It kinda DOES look like I'm on crack in this picture lol. But I just said "Haha that's how it goes." Then she said "I don't think it looks like that though. It looks more ... sad" Kudos for her having more of a brain than the hangers of the pieces! Then I told her it was a self portrait and I held it up to my face and she was like ..... OHHHH!!! |
